It is fascinating to contemplate how the cycle of daily sunlight plays with our psyche. Its warmth spreads slowly as we anticipate that wonderful feeling of being enveloped and energised by it. Sunflowers seem to best visually manifest that need for the sun whose consistency is unfailing. I was reminded of the opening act of a play where the actors were waiting for their cues. ~ Erika Cholich, 2023
