Artsite Contemporary is dedicated to promoting exemplary local and Australian artists.
Housed in a classic 1940 Art Deco warehouse, Artsite Contemporary offers two large purpose designed well-lit dedicated exhibition spaces plus a stockroom browsing gallery.
With a strong curatorial approach to current contemporary visual arts practice, Artsite Contemporary’s diverse and innovative exhibition program places a strong focus on local emerging to established mid-career Australian and Indigenous Artists.
Our established Artists are well represented in public, corporate and private collections in Australia and Internationally. Our emerging Artists are regularly short listed in significant Art Prize exhibitions and included as Award finalists within Australia.
Artsite is accredited by the National Association of the Visual Arts (NAVA), and is a signatory member of the Indigenous Art Code of Australia. Artsite acts as an agent on behalf of, and in the best interests of artists and is fully committed to ethical and transparent business dealings with Indigenous artists and Art Centres.
We believe in the caliber and future potential of our artists. As the Artist’s agent, Artsite Contemporary is committed to maintaining high standards of ethics and integrity in our relationships with Artists and Gallery Clients in the primary art market.
