Dorothy Erickson, an internationally renowned artist-jeweller, historian and author has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2020 Curtin University Alumni Achievement Awards ceremony in Perth.

Curtin University Vice-Chancellor Professor John Cordery congratulated Dr Erickson and all the recipients of this year’s Alumni Achievement Awards.
Each year the University recognises Curtin alumni who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the community. I am delighted to recognise this year’s award winners who have been instrumental and impactful in their own fields and made a lasting contribution to the community since leaving Curtin, Professor Cordery said.

Dr Erickson, who won the Lifetime Achievement Award last night, is an influential leader and artist in Australia’s arts and craft community. Dr Erickson, along with the other award recipients, are outstanding examples of Curtin alumni who have used their degrees to make a difference both in Australia and around the world.
