David Asher Brook explains where the painting came from:
“I had driven two of my children and three of their friends to Bowral on a summer’s day to visit more friends. I told all of them before we left that I was willing to drive them all the way there on one condition, that if it came to it and they were ready to go home and I was not, needing to continue painting, they would all have to wait. The girl in the painting was waiting for the train to Exeter. My kids later called to me, nagging to leave, but now realised they had to wait for me.”

Exhibition Dates: 30 September – 03 October 2022.
