Artsite Contemporary welcomes approaches from established Australian Artists seeking Solo exhibition opportunities. Ideally you will already have an established professional profile including a combination of curated commercial gallery exhibitions and recognition with finalist award achievements.
Our gallery supports a select number of local and interstate artists who focus their time making high quality work for their biennial solo exhibitions with a standard of work regularly accepted into finalist prize exhibitions. These achievements are supported between solo exhibitions through group exhibition and stockroom promotion.
Call for Submissions ~ Artist Groups, Incorporated Associations, Collectives seeking Project Exhibitions
Artsite Contemporary welcomes approaches from Artist organisations seeking project exhibition opportunities. Project exhibition opportunities are suitable for artist organisations and groups seeking professional gallery exhibition services.
Our gallery has up to 3 discretionary project exhibition opportunities available each calendar year to support local Sydney and Interstate artist groups. These project exhibitions are fee based with additional gallery services customised to your groups needs and budget.
- Project submissions are evaluated in this calendar year for opportunities to be scheduled in the next calendar year.
- Successful applicants will be notified by 30 November of the current year.
Call for Submissions ~ Individual Artists seeking group exhibition opportunities
Whilst Artsite Contemporary’s primary focus is on supporting our regular exhibiting artists, we encourage local, independent and emerging artists to apply to participate in group exhibition opportunities.
- Group exhibitions are strongly curated and an exhibition participation fee applies.
- Independent and emerging artist submissions are accepted any time and are evaluated periodically as group exhibitions are planned by curators.
- Successful applicants will receive an offer to participate agreement with the relevant exhibition fee.
- Note: Participation fees may vary subject to curatorial considerations however, in general they align with standard finalist art award entry fees and are refundable from commission when work sold.
