Congratulations to Christine Druitt Preston, whose work Olley Land – Take a place at the Table, 2019 was selected for inclusion in the 2021 InkMasters Print Exhibition.
The InkMasters Print Exhibition is an international juried exhibition which brings together the best printmakers from our region with national and international artists from around the world. The works entered are an exciting range of many print mediums and combinations of media, traditional and contemporary, in a range of formats including 3D works such as artists’ books.
The 2021 Judges were Henri van Noordenburg from the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art; Ashleigh Campbell Director NorthSite, Cairns; International Cairns-based artist Brian Robinson of the Maluyligal and Wuthathi peoples of the Torres Strait and Cape York Peninsula.
We are impressed by the exceptional quality of entries from artists from around the world this year. Our judges have had an incredibly challenging job preselecting from the large number of submissions noted Rachel Wolfe, Exhibition Support Coordinator, and this year, 138 prints have been selected for inclusion in the exhibition.
Exhibition Dates: 25 June – 25 July 2021
Tanks Arts Centre Tank 4, 46 Collins Avenue, Edge Hill, Cairns QLD.
