Congratulations to Graham Marchant, whose watercolour, The garden gate, Leura, 2022 has been selected as Finalist in FLOW, Wollongong Art Gallery’s Contemporary Watercolour Prize, 2023.

Flow Contemporary Watercolour Prize is a biennial acquisitive competition open to artists from around Australia. Over 80 artworks have been selected from this year’s entrants to form the exhibition at the Wollongong Art Gallery. The prize aims to encourage innovation and experimentation in watercolour painting, including works on paper in watercolour, acrylic, gouache, pen and ink, and watercolour mixed media.

The 2023 Flow Prize judge was Beatrice Gralton, Senior Curator of the Brett Whiteley Studio at the Art Gallery of NSW.
