Congratulations to John Edwards, whose Self Portrait won this years Peoples Choice Award in The Vincent Prize 2023.
Now in its sixth year, the award is sponsored by Sean McElvogue, Art Van Go fine art transport service, and named in honour of world-renowned artist Vincent Van Gogh, a Dutch post-impressionist painter who famously cut off part of his own ear in a psychotic rage.
This years judge, Ramesh Nithiyendran, selected the exhibited works from those returning from the 2023 AGNSW Archibald, Wynne and Sulman entries.
