Congratulations to Ross Skinner, finalist in the 2014 City of Kogarah Art Prize.
Established in 2012, The City of Kogarah Art Prize is an annual acquisitive prize for painting with prizes valued at $12,000. Out of the 179 works that were submitted, 35 finalists were selected by Loxley to be part of the exhibition.
Judge Anne Loxley praised the strength and diversity of artists at the show saying, “It’s a strong, interesting show, which celebrates the local and has attracted artists from far afield. There are skilful works, and there are artists here whose work I haven’t seen before – and I would be interested in seeing more from them.” Anne Loxley is C3West Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Exhibition Dates: 17 June – 13 July 2014.
