Congratulations to Christine Druitt Prestons, whose Lino block print, Illumination 2/3, 2022 was selected for exhibition in the 2023 Gosford Art Prize.
Open to practicing artists from across Australia, with a prize pool of over $28,000, the Gosford Art prize received 948 entries from across Australia. Of those entries, 146 artworks were selected as finalists for exhibition.
The Gosford Art Prize 2023 is judged by artist Karen Black with Gosford Regional Gallery curator Jasmine Kean with the First prize valued at $15,000.
The announcement of the prize winners will be made 6pm, Friday 8 September 2023.
