I work on utilitarian panels that surface our ordinary environments. My images aim to push the boundaries of representative figures attempting to blur the lines between figurative and abstract language.
My work delves into expressive interpretation in describing what the mind sees. It is an inner vision and perception of the surroundings regardless of the subject. Panting landscapes is never an end in itself, but instead, a vision of contemplation and meditation, evoking memories, and provoking introspection into inner landscapes; seeking and reflecting on the way humans and nature relate to each other. Our inner landscapes are both complex and ever-changing, shaped by experiences, relationships, and the passage of time.
Through my work I endeavor to capture this connection.
